This assignment was to create and compile a guide to various online resources relating to a topic (in this case, paid publishing).

This document is more detailed than the other samples. It is organized from general to specific.

Document Design Decisions

I provide longer descriptions of resources and use several pages to organize and space the text. Readers would need to know more information about each site in order to find the particular resource they are looking for and to understand how best to navigate and make use of it.

I organized this document into several sections and subsections. I provided a detailed table of contents and included title pages for not only the document itself, but its smaller sections as well.

The document is organized from general to specific. Each entry begins with some basic information. Each description's first sentence provides an overview of what the resource is, who produced it, and what it does or is good for.
