A product description is distinct from an instruction set because it does not instruct; it only describes.
The purpose of this document is to provide readers with descriptions and the advantages and disadvantages of different options for a strings instrument's bow.
The description's goal is not to lead the reader toward any specific type of bow, but to discuss options and allow readers to decide based on their own needs.
Document Design Decisions
The document is organized into sections by category. Different sections are on separate pages. For example, options for wood types are on one page and options for hair types on another.
All sections and subsections are numbered. The detailed table of contents lists each section and subsection by number and title in case a reader only wants information on one type of wood or hair. This choice makes the document organized and navigable.
Some graphics give the reader context or extra information. I also used graphics to illustrate and compare bow options.
